Hi, I wanted to throw my hat into the ring on this subject, too. I have
have been experimenting with lasercutting my prints. You can see an example

After I had the laser cut made, I added chine colle silk tissue to the back
of the print so the cut areas were a little more visible. Laser is just
another tool, but one I want to use as a new method of making prints, not
as a replacement for carving - which I love so much.

I hadn't considered how laser cutting could open up possibilities for
people who are injured or disabled. Carving can be a taxing physical
process.

I mentioned earlier that the University of Tennessee has a laser cutter.
And I confess I am very interested in it. I can give it a go and share the
results with you guys. I can photograph the block too.
