Barbara,
Thanks to you for the report and, of course, all the stalwarts supporting Maria in this mammoth event. I also would have liked to helped, but Im too far away.
....once Maria Gets home, 1100 miles and two days of intensive driving thats real dedication..... like driving the whole length of the UK from Scotland to Lands end in England!

Im back home and rested up for my two wonderful days helping Maria and everyone.

Gotta say, my favorite part was seeing all the wonderful blocks. You guys are amazing. The creativity and craftsmanship is something to behold. Looking at each of those wonderful prints as we pulled it off the block was inspiring enough to keep me going the whole time (that and Marias whip). It was my job to carry the print over to the drying rack, and I kept seeing these interesting little details that are so wonderful!

Sorry, if Im making everyone anxious with anticipation, but Im betting that when they finally get to your house youll be looking at them over and over again and loving them.

This is such a wonderful project, that even as we were downing handfuls of Ibuprofen with hot black coffee, skipping meals and going without sleep we were still discussing The Next Project.

I for one can hardly wait.

Barbara,

Thanks to you for the report

I hadn't wanted to mention the word 'next time', as I didn't want to
cause an earthquake in Las Vegas, but if this does ever happen again,
there _has_ to be a webcam!

I'm envious of the fun you guys must have had doing this!

Thank you Maria, Sharri, Terri, Doug, Barbara and Don for your huge team effort. You put in miles of work in all aspects of the project, (especially you, Maria, project dreamer-upper and coordinator). And, already planning another project -- I love creative people! You have my heart.

Fun....you call Maria and a whip fun.....
Well, sort of, we did laugh a lot but towards the end of the day we could barely talk...
We discussed involving a university with several presses and young students for the next one...we think we are too old to print for three days straight 9 hours a day...
You just say your envious because you are too far away to be pulled into Maria's web.....

I am so glad you all had such a grand time printing. I wish to thank you all so much for your Herculean efforts. Sure and steady work wins the race, no matter the age (well, for the most part). I agree with Dave a web camera would be so great! Best wishes on your printing recovery, and many many thanks in helping our fearless leader in completing our city of the world. I am bursting with curiosity for the next project!

Thank you again, Print Team Extraordinare! AND Atelier Meridian!

Renee

Another three impressions today. First up is a green tone on the clothing of both men, and I have to confess 'cheating' somewhat, because I think (I'm not quite sure) that these two areas on the original print have slightly differing green tones. But my version is so reduced in size that I rather suspect such a subtlety would be lost, so we'll go with 'one size fits all' in this case.
