Hello Fellow Bareners - I need some help. I have just found out that my brother in law has 5 or 6 Hiroshige prints (originals).
Does anyone know the worth of these prints? Also, where would one sell them? He also has an original rare GOYO.

Thanks for your help

Try Jerry Vegder -- http://printsofjapan.com and
http://printsofjapan.wordpress.com -- he'll appraise your prints for a
small fee and he's both honest to a fault and extremely knowledgeable - a
rarity today!

I suggest that you contact a museum gallery to see if there is a curator there that can asses the value of the prints.
The usual routine is they ask for a donation.... It is a win, win situation. We are fortunate here in Victoria having a curator
that has been involved with Asian art for 30 years... What he doesn't know is not worth knowing.
