BFK Rives paper, Graphic inks, birch plank…A lot of my focus in this print was a wonderful huge page (vellum) from a hand written/illustrated Herbal. The illustrated plants were breathtaking, as was the price. But as you lifted the mat to check, surely the lovely orangy markings that patterned the page were bleed-through from the writings on the reverse.
