This is a second “bijin aizuri-e” basswood reduction for The Baren Exchange. This one was printed in fifteen stages in Prussian Blue and Sumi. The run was on 48 quarter-sheets (chu-ban) of Yamaguchi-san’s beautiful handmade hosho paper which I purchased from the Baren Mall. Three prints were rejected for smudges, otherwise a pretty good run - started Friday, May 10 and completed Thursday, May 16, 2002.
