unlike most hawks ,the Kestrel (or sparrow hawk,killy hawk,windhover) nests in cavities-such as woodpeckers holes

or human made boxes. i like to show such a nimble,vigorous little falcon in repose instead of streaking stooping or hovering as it is most often doing while shrieking Killy Killy Killy"
