Artist's comments ...

Moku hanga reductive woodcut on Kozo Natural Uwazen paper, seven impressions, eight colors - light peach, medium peach, peach/pink, tan, brown, dark brown (with bokashi), black (with mica in specific areas), plus a teeny bit of sky blue.

Unity, even in youth. An invented heirloom. My maternal grandparents, Mary Ann Drozdowski and Edward Francis Bonk, Sr., did not even know each other when they were children; however, I manipulated their separate communion photos to create this single image of them together, holding hands, as though anticipating their marriage.
