Artist's comments ...

The morning after a three inch snowfall this early April, I found the perfect PRINTs (made of feathers, wings and feet) of an owl 'taking a rabbit' on the driveway beside my garden in the woods. I guess probably that's why I don't have rabbit problems in the garden! Thus inspired, I recreated the scene which had occurred while I slept..

.p.s. I knew it was an owl since it was too early for the hawks that also patrol my "raptor airstrip'.
