Artist's comments ...

In trying to incorporate the four elements, I only used fire (sun) and earth in the visual image but the haiku nicely took care of air (wind) and water. Never seriously sitting down to do a hiaku, this was a wonderful experience for me.

Linocut on Fabriano Uno 140# watercolor paper (rough) with oil based sepia ink I bought 30 years ago in Italy. I have no idea of the brand, but the tube reads "Chalcographic Ink", still good after all these years.
