There were six plates, one was a reduction, and ten colors. The idea to do three lines with five, seven and five elements came to me immediately. Settling on the imagery was difficult until I decided that it should be the wood chips on the floor of the studio at the time. The idea of fabric scraps on clotheslines and blowing in the wind fit the element of "air".The collage element is my own handmade paper stamped in two colors with a butterfly stamp.
