Medium: relief engraving (Resingrave)
Materials: Daniel Smith oil-based relief ink on Lenox 100 paper

When I began thinking about this exchange, I realized that while I love the work of many and various printmakers (Durer, Blake, Escher, and Eichenberg, to name just a few), none have directly influenced my own prints. My print therefore tributes an artist whose clean, bold wood engravings inspired me to stretch myself for this exchange, and try my hand at engraving for the first time: Rockwell Kent.
