A while back I created a series called "Rings" based on the Life of a Tree which can be seen in the rings of a cross-section of a boxwood round. Continuing with those thougthts, I decided to put to good use some irregular tiny blocks from the same batch. The small size of these unusually shaped blocks immediately suggested seeds...another series is born. I have in mind an artist's book full of seed woodcuts, would that be an artist's pod?
