Comments: In the mid-seventies, my husband and I visited Stanley Park in Vancouver, BC, where he caught me trying to become one with a totem pole. At the time I had blonde hair down to my knees. I love totem poles and enjoyed making a carving of a carving. The eyes of the beings seen in totem poles of the Northwest are truly alive and I got to know the eyes a bit better. This is my first moku hanga. Everything could have been done better, sure, but I’m really pleased with the experience and thankful to all bareners who helped me along with advice.
