Comments: I wanted to depict a mermaid underwater, blowing "kisses" in the form of bubbles into her hand. The underwater background scene was to be in three colors, but it didn't work out, so I elected to print an edition of monochromatic mermaids in black to keep it simple. Hand rubbed with a wooden rice spoon.
