Hear the Harp of Väinämöinen
In the Kalevala, the epic poem of Finnish folklore, it relates
how the first Kantele was made by the prototypical image from
the jawbone of a giant Pike and the hair of the Devil’s Gelding
for strings. Only he could play it successfully. The Zither or
harp like instrument has regained its popularity in Finland.Kalle Pihlajasaari

Comments: My Funditor galley proof press has no grippers so I
get some smudges, this paper does not take to damping hence the
spotty solids when printed dry. Gold foiling on a vintage
Kingsley hand foil press and colours by hand.
