Comments: This is the first print that I have submitted for an exchange, and my 6th attempt to make a Japanese style woodblock print.  It is difficult to be a beginner - there is so much to learn and so many ways to make mistakes!

There are 8 impressions on this print - the last being a subtle gradation of blue-green from the top to add a little bit of \'punch\' to the yellow Iris - I only hope that it isn't too subtle!  Making a series of prints like this is a very humbling experience, yet incredibly exhilarating as the wood, paper, ink, and artist come together to recreate an image seen only briefly at the edge of a marsh on a sunny Spring day.  I had fun!
